• Cabinet product - an independent model of furniture, in which there are rear and side walls, there is a cover, bottom and facades. The back wall should be from LDSP, but not from thin DVP. Standard technologies require this. Often, manufacturers try to reduce the final cost of the product by substituting materials. However, subsequent dissatisfaction with poor quality can completely overshadow the joy of savings.

However, regardless of the type of location, they all have a triangular shape. In a stand-alone model, the angle of the rear wall coincides with the angle of the room. In furniture of the built-in type, the angle value does not play a special role. Curved contours allow rational use of the space inside the furniture.

• Radial cabinets are somewhat smaller in capacity than direct models. The fact is that the sliding elements for such models are much more difficult to manufacture.
• Far from every material is suitable for making curved doors, as some of them are not able to bend in their structure.
• You cannot install a mirror on a curved door - the image will be distorted. For the same reason, the radius cupboard is not decorated with stained glass.
• Built-in radius cupboard cannot be moved to another location. But if the direct built-in wardrobe is universal, and it can be mounted in any other place, then radius models due to the specificity of the form will not fit in any space of the hallway.
• The mechanism for a radial cabinet cannot be bought ready, since the guides have different bending radii. Therefore, it is difficult to make it yourself.

The radial facade is based on a profile aluminum or steel frame in which there are plastic inserts.

In radial parts, a profile is specially bent by a given radius. This method applies to all types of radius doors.

• Bent facades can be made of MDF. Such plates have a soft structure, thanks to which radial facades can be obtained not only for hallways, but also for kitchen facades and other interior elements. Here several separate thin sheets can be used. There are also several special MDF grades that allow you to make curved shapes.

• Acrylic glass. In order to bend the glass, special technologies are used, so these facades are distinguished by high cost. Radius doors of glass can be decorated with photo printing, tinted or sandblasted pattern. Photo printing uses special inks, which are polymerized by means of ultraviolet rays. As a result of such exposure, the picture becomes visually larger.

The technology of sandblasting method is based on the fact that using a special device a suitable pattern is applied with a stream of sand under high pressure. Glass doors with lightning look very impressive in the living room.

• Concave models somewhat soften the strict geometry of the hallway and do not fill the whole space. Such furniture gives the hallway home comfort and pleasant roundness, smoothing all corners. In addition, concave designs give the hallway an extra depth effect.

• Convex cabinet - A great option for a small hallway, as this model does not differ excessive width.

• Curved lines - sequential alternation of facades of different shapes. The optimal location - along the wall. This model is especially suitable for a long hallway.

• Round or oval shapes due to the impressive dimensions are suitable exclusively for large hallways.

In cabinets with curved facades there are two ways to attach them to the body.

1. Upper suspension methodwhen the door is attached to the ceiling or to the cover. In this case, there is no threshold in the model. However, these doors can not be mounted to the drywall or suspended ceiling - they are too heavy for these materials. In addition, this design quickly comes into disrepair - since the door is fixed only at the top, then all the main burden falls on the cabinet.
2. Lower mounting method. In this case, the guides are attached to the floor or bottom base. The load in this case is evenly distributed, therefore this method of fastening is preferable.

However, this mount is also not without flaws:

1. The guide must be installed with maximum accuracy - otherwise, the door stroke will be impeded, and over time it may fail, and it will be difficult to find a replacement.
2. Requires additional care for guides., as they constantly accumulate dust, which can impede the door, they should be regularly vacuumed and wiped with a damp cloth.
