After that, it will still be necessary to treat the surface with soda or simply with washing powder in order to get rid of the layer of glue remaining on it.

You can also use another popular method to remove stickers. You can put them on the oil of plant origin. But if a large area sticker is applied, it will be inconvenient to apply an oil compress to it, especially if it is vertical. Therefore, you can do it differently: put on the picture petroleum jelly or any other fat. It is absorbed into the paper and will lead to the dissolution of the glue, so that the sticker can be easily removed. As a rule, applying Vaseline alone is not enough and it is done several times, but this method is still easier than to wipe off the stickers with a brush.
