Primer concrete-contact "miners": properties and application

Concrete is a compound used in construction to prepare walls or ceilings for subsequent plastering. There are many such soil mixtures on the market. Primer concrete contact is designed for both interior and exterior. For street work it is advisable to use a universal composition. It is used for processing of the bases which are badly absorbing moisture. Its main function is to increase the adhesion of surfaces. For example, any finishing materials badly “stick” to the untreated concrete slabs.

Covering the foundation with concrete contact is a guarantee of high-quality and durable finish. The composition is allowed to impregnate surfaces made of:

Before you apply concrete contact on the base, its surface must be carefully prepared. For this you need:

• clean the working base of the remnants of the old finish and flaky layers;

After all the preparatory manipulations, you must wait until the wall or ceiling is completely dry. Do not neglect the preparation. From its quality will depend on the ease of application of the material and its durability.

Primer can be applied to the dried surface. The base is processed with a brush (transverse size - not less than 10 cm) or with a 25 cm paint roller. Also allowed to use the spray gun. It is recommended to carry out the work in protective gloves.

For surface treatment, you should completely soak the brush or roller in the primer, then apply it to the substrate.
