GOST 926 82 provides that this enamel, regardless of color, should be a suspension of dyes and fillers in alkyd-based varnish. Organic solvents, dryers, and sometimes other components are added to the mixture.
The purpose of the use of enamel - decoration of freight transport, with the exception of refrigerated railway cars. It can be used to paint containers, wood and metal surfaces, but it is not applicable to agricultural machinery of any kind.

Preparation for work

According to the standards for enamel PF-133, its density is 1100 - 1200 g per 1 sq. Km. The established requirements provide for a maximum dilution of up to 30%.
The duration of drying up to level 3 at a temperature of 20 degrees is from 1.5 to 30 hours.
The difference is determined by the unequal chemical composition of the enamel of different colors. It is important to remember that the product is toxic and creates a significant fire hazard.

PF-133, as well as diluents and solvents used with it, can cause skin irritation and the appearance of eczema. Practical properties and use
The composition adheres well to metal, the coating shines and turns out very hard. The product perfectly tolerates negative atmospheric phenomena, temperature and -40, and +60 degrees. PF-133, in contrast to the more familiar PF-115, can "survive" chamber drying. No effort during air drying can give a comparable strength and stability of the film.
The composition does not form smudges and wrinkles, it is immediately applied with a perfectly smooth layer. Drying time ranges from 24 to 48 hours, it is determined by the number of layers and temperature. Contact with water for 10 hours (at room temperature and immobility of the liquid) does not lead to negative consequences.
Preliminary preparation implies priming with mixtures of PF, EF and GF. Use of their full chemical analogs is also allowed. The tree should be thoroughly cleaned of any dust and dirt. Dilution of the enamel itself with a combination of xylene with white spirit up to 70% is allowed. The share of white spirit in the diluting composition may not exceed 50%. Recommended working air temperature - from +5 to + 30 degrees, relative humidity - maximum 80%.
To prevent water vapor from condensing, the surface must be 3 degrees (or more) warmer than the dew point. The cleaning of the used tool is made by solvent, white spirit.
1 liter of PF-133 can cover 19.5 - 26 square meters. m. surface. This indicator is influenced by the smoothness or degree of roughness of the substrate, working temperature, dilution, professionalism when applied, the geometry of the coated product.
