Diffuser can be made of various types of material: from fabric, glass, paper or plastic. The main condition is the ability of the material to transmit at least a little light. Each material has its own pros and cons.

Sconces with fabric shade are budget options. Chintz lampshades are practical and last a long time. Satin diffusers due to the dense texture well mute the light and create a cozy atmosphere. Devices made with the use of silk look especially luxurious, but the material itself is not durable. The atlas has a good light transmission capacity, but, like any fabric shade, attracts dust.

Plastic diffusers are very easy to clean. They can be washed or simply wiped with a rag. This is one of the practical and inexpensive options for wall lights. Sconces with glass shade or crystal look luxurious and expensive, but they cost a lot.

The lamp with a green shade has a calming effect and is pleasing to the eye. Blue, silver and violet tones of diffusers are recommended for offices or rooms with a working environment, since cold tones have a positive effect on mental activity. Wall sconces with black or brown lenses dim the light and create a pleasant soothing shimmer that is well suited for a bedroom.

Wall lights can be placed in any room. Both in the corridor and in the nursery they will easily find their use.

Most often sconces are hung on the walls in the bedroom. In this room, they will help create a soft, muffled light that is so necessary to quickly relax and fall asleep. In a room with low ceilings sconces are placed on the entire perimeter of the room with light directed upwards. This visually makes the ceiling higher. In the living room, where the ceiling is too high, the sconces are placed closer to the floor. Thus, the atmosphere in the room becomes more romantic and cozy. If you symmetrically install wall lights around a mirror or picture, this will effectively emphasize them without unnecessary glare.

Lampshade wall lamps are also appropriate in the bathroom, corridor and children's room. In the kitchen with them you can highlight the dining area, separating it from the working. With the help of wall lights in the bathroom emit a mirror.
